Normal Operation
The 4X4 indicator informs the operator that a failure has occurred in the automatic 4WD feature or that the 4WD feature is temporarily locked or disabled. The 4X4 indicator status is transmitted to the instrument cluster from the 4WD control module through the CAN circuits.
