PINPOINT TEST D: DTC B1602 - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) RECEIVED INVALID FORMAT OF KEY-CODE FROM KEY TRANSPONDER

Normal Operation
During each vehicle start sequence, the PATS transceiver reads the PATS key identification and code sends the data to the powertrain control module (PCM) through circuit 1216 (GY/OG).
