Normal Operation
The charging system warning indicator is controlled by the instrument cluster, which monitors the vehicle voltage levels through circuit 904 (LG/RD) from the generator. When the generator output is insufficient to maintain the battery state of charge, the instrument cluster illuminates the charging system warning indicator.

Possible Causes
- circuit 904 (LG/RD) open or short to voltage
- instrument cluster
