Normal Operation
When the key is turned to the UNLOCK position in the driver door lock cylinder, the door disarm switch provides a ground signal to the smart junction box (SJB) on circuit CPL28 (VT/BN). With this signal, the SJB will disarm the perimeter alarm, thereby allowing entry without activating the alarm.
DTC B2100 - sets when there is a short to ground in the circuit between the door disarm switch and the SJB.
Possible Causes
- Circuitry
- Door disarm switch (part of the driver door latch)
- SJB
