Normal Operation
Under normal operation, voltage is supplied to the ignition switch through circuit SBP27 (BU/RD). When the ignition switch is turned to the START position, voltage is sent to the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit CDC35 (BU/WH). From the SJB, voltage is sent to the starter relay coil through circuit CDC35 (BU/WH). Ground for the starter relay coil is provided from the PCM through circuit CDC12 (YE). Voltage is supplied to the starter relay through circuit SDC02 (RD). When the relay is energized, voltage is sent to the starter motor through circuit CDC25 (BN/GN).

Possible Causes
- Fuse(s)
- An open in circuit SBP27 (BU/RD), CDC35 (BU/WH), CDC12 (YE), SDC02 (RD) or CDC25 (BN/GN)
- Starter motor
- Starter relay
