Tests AA: The Low Fuel Indicator Is Never/Always On (Base Cluster Only)
PINPOINT TEST AA: THE LOW FUEL INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON (BASE CLUSTER ONLY)Normal Operation
The low fuel illuminates when the fuel remaining in the fuel tank is approximately one-eighth tank. The instrument cluster (IC) uses the same fuel level data used to operate the fuel gauge. When the instrument cluster (IC) receives the fuel level data, the fuel gauge indicates low fuel and the instrument cluster (IC) turns on the low fuel indicator.
