Test S: Both Fog Lamps Are Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST S: BOTH FOG LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVENormal Operation
When the fog lamp switch is engaged, voltage is routed from the headlamp switch through circuit 188 (WH/BK) which flows to the fog lamp relay coil. The fog lamp relay coil is grounded through the high beam circuit.
When the fog lamp relay, is energized, the relay routes voltage from the central junction box (CJB) fuse 17 (15A) to circuit 478 (TN/OG) which supplies voltage to the fog lamps.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Fog lamp relay
- Headlamp switch
- CJB
