Bumper Cover - Front

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the 4 upper front bumper cover scrivets.

3. Remove the 2 upper front bumper cover bolts.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

4. Remove the 2 middle front bumper cover scrivets located in the front bumper opening just below the license plate position.

5. NOTE: The front lower air deflector will be removed with the front bumper cover.

Remove the 3 lower air deflector-to-radiator grille support scrivets.

6. Remove the 6 front bumper cover wheel house screws (3 each side).
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

7. If equipped, disconnect the fog lamps electrical connector.

8. If equipped, disconnect the front parking aid electrical connector.

9. NOTE: The rearward upper portion of the bumper cover must be pulled outward to release it from the bumper cover mounting reinforcement.

Remove the front bumper cover.

10. Inspect the bumper cover mounting reinforcements for damage. If necessary, install new bumper cover mounting reinforcements.





11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer all necessary components.
