Upper Satellite Radio Antenna Cable
Lower Satellite Radio Antenna Cable (Without Navigation)
Lower Satellite Radio Antenna Cable (With Navigation)
Removal and Installation
NOTE: This procedure applies to the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna cables. For the AM/FM antenna cable, refer to Antenna - AM/FM Antenna - AM/FM.
NOTE: The upper and lower GPS antenna cables are serviceable separately.
Lower cable
1. Remove the RH cowl side trim panel.
2. Remove the engine cover.
3. Remove the glove compartment door. For additional information, refer to Instrument Cluster / Carrier &/or Interior Moulding / Trim.
4. Disconnect the lower satellite radio antenna cable from the upper satellite radio/Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna cable at the RH cowl panel.
NOTE: For vehicles with navigation, a splitter is built-in to the lower satellite radio antenna cable to split the satellite radio and GPS signals.
5. For vehicles equipped with navigation, remove the Audio Control Module (ACM). For additional information, refer to Audio Control Module (ACM) Audio Control Module (ACM).
- Disconnect the satellite radio antenna cable-to-ACM electrical connectors.
Upper cable
6. Remove the 3 screws and the RH sun visor.
7. Remove the RH A-pillar trim panel.
8. NOTE: Lower the headliner enough to gain access to the connection.
Disconnect the Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna upper cable from the GPS antenna.
All vehicles
9. Remove the glove compartment. For additional information, refer to Instrument Cluster / Carrier &/or Interior Moulding / Trim.
10. Disconnect the GPS antenna upper cable from the GPS antenna lower cable.
11. Disengage the pushpins and remove the GPS antenna cable (upper or lower).
12. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
