Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. NOTE: Module configuration is required when a new Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) is being installed.

Upload the FDIM configuration information to the scan tool . For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in Information Bus. Programming and Relearning

Without navigation

2. Remove the mat, the 2 screws, and the instrument panel upper bin.

With navigation

3. Remove the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM). For additional information, refer to Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM).

All vehicles

4. Remove the 4 screws and the FDIM.
- Disconnect the electrical connector(s).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the configuration information to the FDIM. For additional information, refer to PMI in Information Bus. Programming and Relearning
