Removal and Installation

All vehicles - console

1. Remove the media hub. For additional information, refer to Media Hub Media Hub.

2. Remove the floor console RH upper finish moulding.

Edge - console

3. Remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

4. Disconnect the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable at the lower RH side of the floor console, detach the 3 push-pin retainers and remove the cable.

MKX - console

5. Remove the RH upper floor console side trim panel.

6. Disconnect the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable at the lower RH side of the floor console, detach the 3 push-pin retainers and remove the cable.

All vehicles - console

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

All vehicles - instrument panel

1. Remove the APIM (Accessory Protocol Interface Module). For additional information, refer to Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM) Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM).

Edge - instrument panel

2. Remove the RH floor console side trim panel.

MKX - instrument panel

3. Remove the RH upper floor console side trim panel.

All vehicles - instrument panel

4. Disconnect the USB (Universal Serial Bus) cable at the lower RH side of the floor console, detach the push-pin retainer and remove the cable.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
