Oil Pump Screen and Pickup Tube





















Removal

1. Remove the upper oil pan. For additional information, refer to Oil Pan - Upper Oil Pan - Upper.

2. Remove the 10 bolts and the oil pan baffle.

3. Remove the 3 bolts and the oil pump screen and pickup tube.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

Installation

1. NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring seals prior to installing the oil pump screen and pickup tube.

Using new O-ring seals, install the oil pump screen and pickup tube and 3 bolts.

- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

2. Install the oil pan baffle and 10 bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).





3. Install the upper oil pan. For additional information, refer to Oil Pan - Upper Oil Pan - Upper.
