Accelerator Cable - 2.3L

Removal and Installation









1. Remove the 2 bolts and the accelerator control splash shield.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.





3. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the intake manifold.





4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal.





5. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the vehicle.





6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
