Bumper Cover - Rear

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. NOTE: MKX shown Edge Similar.
Remove the 8 upper rear bumper cover pin-type retainers (6 on Edge).






3. Remove the 2 upper rear bumper cover bolts.





4. Remove the 12 screws (6 each side) from the rear wheel splash shields.





5. Remove the rear bumper cover-to-body brace screw.





6. Disconnect the trailer hitch and parking aid system wiring harness, if equipped.





7. Remove the rear bumper cover.
- Remove the bumper cover from the bumper cover bracket.

- Remove the bumper cover.






8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer parts as necessary.
