Engine Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Reach under the instrument panel and remove the heater duct.
3. Disconnect the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA) connectors.

4. Remove the ECA mounting bolts.

5. Remove the ECA.

INSTALLATION
NOTE: When installing the ECA, be sure to insert the mounting clip into the bulkhead recess.

1. Place the ECA into its mounting position.
2. Install the ECA mounting bolts and nut.
3. Connect the ECA electrical connectors.
4. Install the heater duct.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
