HB4 - Check Continuity of Injector Harness

- Key Off.

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and injector vehicle harness connectors. Inspect connectors and harness for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, chafing or burns. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Measure resistance between VPWR pin at the injector vehicle harness connector and the VPWR pin at the breakout box.

- Measure resistance between the injector signal pins at the vehicle harness connector and injector pins at the breakout box.

- Is each resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

YES -- GO to HB5. HB5 - Check Injector Harness For Short to Power or Ground

NO -- SERVICE open in harness. REMOVE breakout box. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
