HC3 - Check Fuel Pressure Leak Down



- Observe Safe Fuel Handling Practices. Safe Fuel Handling Practices

- Fuel pressure tester installed.

- Scan Tool connected.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Enter Output Test Mode and run fuel pump to obtain maximum fuel pressure. Output Test Mode

- Exit Output Test Mode, key Off.

- Verify fuel pressure remains within 5 psi of the maximum pressure for 1 minute after turning pump off.

- Does fuel pressure remain within 5 psi?

YES -- GO to HC5. HC5 - Check Fuel Pressure, Engine Running

NO -- GO to HC4. HC4 - Check Pressure Regulator Diaphragm
