AA14 - Spout Signal Verification
- Key "OFF".
- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.
- Install breakout box and connect PCM to breakout box.
- Ensure timing switch is in "Computed" position on breakout box.
- Measure voltage between test pin 36 and test pins 40 and 60 at the breakout box during crank.
- Is voltage between 3.0 and 6.0 volts?
Yes -- Go to AA21. AA21 - Check Fuel Pressure
No -- Go to AA9. AA9 - Check Spout and PIP Circuit For Short to Power
