NOTE: It vehicle is equipped with speed control, the speed control servo must be electrically disconnected. This prevents the speed control system from affecting the throttle plate movement during Output State test mode. Rerun Quick Test or Output State test mode. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

- Key "OFF".

- Perform Key On Engine Off Self-Test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

- Are any of these Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) (23, 53, 63,121,122 or 123) present?

Yes -- Go to Quick Test and service appropriate DTC as instructed. Manufacturer Code Charts

DTC 11 or 111 -- Go to QC2. QC2 - Check Throttle Linkage

No DTCs -- Go to pinpoint test step QA1. QA1 - Check VREF Voltage At Self-Test Connector
