TG103 - Check Sensor Resistance

- Key "OFF".

- Connect Manual Lever Position (MLP) sensor.

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) disconnected.

- Unlock steering column.

Resistance Specification Chart:

* In Drive.

- Measure resistance between test pin 30 and test pin 46 at the breakout box in each gear selector position. Refer to the MLP sensor resistance specification table above.

- Is each resistance within specifications?

Yes -- Replace the PCM. Remove the breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Replace MLP sensor. Remove breakout box. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
