X34 - Check Power-to-Low Speed Fan Circuit For Short to Power

- Key Off.

- CCRM disconnected.

- PCM disconnected.

- Disconnect cooling fan.

- Key On, Engine Off.

- Measure voltage between Pin 1 of the CCRM vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Key Off.

- Is the voltage less than 1.0 volt?

YES -- SERVICE short to power in the Power-to-High Speed Fan circuit. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes

NO -- SERVICE short to power in the Power-to-Low Speed Fan circuit. RECONNECT all components. Rerun quick test. Diagnostic Subroutines (DSR) - Extracting Codes
