KF43 - Check Power-to-Fan Circuit For Short to Ground

- Key "OFF".

- Low Fan Control (LFC) and High Fan Control (HFC) relays disconnected.

- Disconnect both cooling fans.

- Measure resistance between the Power-to-Fan circuit at the HFC relay vehicle harness connector and the battery negative post.

- Is resistance greater than 10,000 ohms?

Yes -- Go to KF44.

No -- Service Power-to-Fan circuit short to ground. Reconnect all components. Re-evaluate symptom.
