KT7 - Check Operation of Both IMRC and Linkages



- Key "OFF".

- Apply 34 kPa (10 in Hg) vacuum to both Intake Manifold Runner Control System (IMRC) valves.

- Did both valves and valve mechanical linkages move in response to the applied vacuum?

Yes -- Go to KT8. KT8 - Check Vacuum to Both IMRC Valves

No -- Service as necessary. Inspect for contamination, if none, then Replace appropriate IMRC valve assembly. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
