EGR Electronic Vacuum Regulator Solenoid: Service and Repair
Vacuum Regulator:
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Disconnect engine control sensor wiring and vacuum hoses from
Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) vacuum regulator control.
3.
Remove retaining bolts and EGR vacuum regulator control from upper intake manifold.
4.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining bolts to
5-7 Nm (44-62 in lb).
