IST2 - Check Base Timing
^ Start the engine and run until at normal operating temperature.
^ Engine at idle.
^ All electrical loads OFF.
^ Connect a Rotunda Timing Analyzer 059-00014, or equivalent.
Data Link Connector:
^ Ground the Self Test Input (STI) connector.
^ Check timing: B10 degrees ±1 degree BTDC.
Base Timing Check:
^ Is timing within specifications?
YES -- Return to Powertrain Management / Testing And Inspection / Procedures / Diagnostic Routines.
NO -- Adjust the timing.
