PINPOINT TEST L: THE REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER IS OUT OF SYNCHRONIZATION

Normal Operation
The remote transmitters and the remote keyless entry (RKE) module use a rolling code to prevent the codes from being "captured" by a code grabber. The system advances the counter in the remote transmitter and in the RKE module every time a remote transmitter button is pressed.

All remote transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the RKE system.

Possible Causes
- RKE module DTC B2425 RKE out of synch
- remote transmitter
- remote transmitter button pressed a substantial amount of times while outside the range of the vehicle
- RKE module
