Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Cylinder Head Bolts Torque & Sequence
The cylinder head bolts are torque-to-yield and must not be reused. New cylinder head bolts must be installed.
Stage 1: 5 Nm (44 inch lbs.)
Stage 2: 15 Nm (11 ft. lbs.)
Stage 3: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
Stage 4: 90 degrees
Stage 5: an additional 90 degrees





Camshaft Bearing Cap Torque & Sequence
Stage 1: Tighten the camshaft bearing bolt caps one turn at a time until tight.
Stage 2: 17 Nm (62 inch lbs.)
Stage 3: 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.)

Camshaft sprocket bolt 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.)
Intake Manifold Bolt Torque 18 Nm (13 ft. lb.)
