Normal Operation
When the generic electronic module (GEM) receives a signal from one or more of the monitored switch(es) indicating unauthorized entry into the vehicle, the GEM intermittently grounds the horn relay circuit 91S-GL43 (BK/GN) and also intermittently sends voltage to the turn signal lamps on circuits 49S-LG12 (BU), 49S-LG19 (BU/RD), 49S-LG5 (BU/WH), 49S-LG4 (BU/RD). The horn relay closes, supplying voltage to the horn. The GEM cycles the ground to the horn relay and voltage to the turn signal lamps, on and off, while the system is activated.

B1300 - sets when the power door lock circuit is shorted to ground

B1352 - sets when the circuit between the key in ignition switch and the GEM is open or shorted to ground

B1519 - sets when the circuit to the hood switch is open

B2108 - sets when the circuit between the GEM and the luggage compartment lid/liftgate disarm switch is shorted to ground

B2112 - sets when the circuit between the GEM and the door lock unit is shorted to ground

B2116 - sets when the circuit between the GEM and the door lock unit is shorted to ground

B2494 - sets when the horn relay coil circuit is shorted to battery
