Test B: The Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Are On With The Ignition Switch Off

PINPOINT TEST B: THE DAYTIME RUNNING LAMPS (DRL) ARE ON WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH OFF

B1-B2:

Normal Operation
The central junction box (CJB) supplies voltage to the DRL relay when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. When the ignition switch is in the RUN position, the DRL relay coil is supplied voltage from the headlamp switch though circuit 15S-LE6 (GN/YE). The DRL relay coil is provided ground through circuit 31-DA1 (BK). When the DRL relay is energized, voltage is routed to the low beam relay through circuit 15S-LE8 (GN/RD). The voltage is then routed through the low beam relay to the low beam headlamps.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 15S-LE8 (GN/RD) short to voltage
- CJB
