Normal Operation
When the brakes are pressed voltage is supplied from the brake switch to the generic electronic control module (GEM) to the brake lights.
Possible Causes
^ Fuse
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted
^ Brake switch
^ GEM
TEST A: DTC C1446 - BRAKE SWITCH CIRCUIT FAILURE
CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when taking measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
