Normal Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) sends a signal through circuit 248 (TN/OG) to the speed control switches. The return signal is sent through circuit 133 (BK). Both circuits pass through the clockspring.

Possible Causes
- Circuit 133 (BK) open, short to voltage or ground
- Circuit 248 (TN/OG) open or short to ground
- Clockspring
- Speed control switch
- PCM
