Cylinder Head Assembly: Specifications

Surface flatness from end to end within 0.010 mm (0.0004 in)
RH cylinder head and 8 new bolts:
Stage 1 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
Stage 2 35 Nm (26 lb-ft)
Stage 3 90 degrees
Stage 4 90 degrees
Stage 5 90 degrees





Install the bolt 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





LH cylinder head and 8 new bolts:
Stage 1 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
Stage 2 35 Nm (26 lb-ft)
Stage 3 90 degrees
Stage 4 90 degrees
Stage 5 90 degrees





Install the bolt 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





LH Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





RH Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





Exhaust camshaft bolt and the original washers:
Stage 1 40 Nm (30 lb-ft)
Stage 2 Loosen one full turn
Stage 3 10 Nm (89 lb-in)
Stage 4 Tighten 90 degrees

Lower intake manifold bolts 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





Upper intake manifold bolts 10 Nm (89 lb-in)





RH exhaust manifold new nuts:
Stage 1 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
Stage 2 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)





LH exhaust manifold new nuts:
Stage 1 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
Stage 2 20 Nm (15 lb-ft)
