Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the air cleaner. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering [1][2]Diagrams.

2. Detach the transmission vent hose from the cooling fan and shroud.





3. Detach the upper 2 wiring harness pushpins from the cooling fan shroud.

4. Release the 2 cooling fan shroud clips.

5. Detach the lower 2 wiring harness pushpins from the cooling fan shroud and disconnect the cooling fan electrical connector.

6. Remove the cooling fan and shroud.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
