Removal and Installation

1. Remove the LH scuff plate trim panel and the LH A-pillar lower trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Interior Trim - Exploded View.

2. Remove the steering column opening trim panel. For additional information, refer to the exploded view in Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Panel - Exploded View.

3. Remove the 4 bolts and the steering column opening trim panel reinforcement.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

4. NOTE: Release the upper steering column shroud by carefully pressing the sides inward.

Remove the 3 lower steering column shroud screws, then separate and remove the upper and lower shrouds.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
