Wiper Pivot Arm

Removal

1. Remove the 2 wiper pivot arm nut covers.

2. Remove the 2 wiper pivot arm nuts.

3. Using a suitable 2 jaw puller, remove the 2 wiper pivot arms.

Installation

1. Using a wire brush, clean the wiper pivot arm shaft.





2. NOTE: New wiper pivot arms need to be installed as an assembly.

Install the 2 wiper pivot arms.

3. Install the 2 wiper pivot arm nuts.
- Tighten to 28 Nm (21 lb-ft).

- Adjust the wiper pivot arms. For additional information, refer to Wiper Blade and Pivot Arm Adjustment Adjustments.

4. Install the 2 wiper pivot arm nut covers.
