NOTE: Inner door sheet metal shown removed for clarity.











Removal and Installation

1. Raise the door window glass to the full-up position.

2. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Interior Trim and Ornamentation Service and Repair.

3. Position the water shield aside.

4. Remove the bolt and turn the door lock cylinder clockwise one-eighth of a turn.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5. Disconnect the door lock cylinder actuating rod and remove the door lock cylinder.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
