Front Bumper Cover / Fascia: Service and Repair




Bumper Cover - Front

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the 2 front bumper cover pin-type retainers.

3. Remove the 4 front bumper cover bolts.

4. Remove the 6 fender splash shield screws.

5. Remove the 7 lower air deflector bolts.

6. If equipped, disconnect the auxiliary park lamps electrical connector.

7. Reposition the fender splash and remove the 2 bumper cover-to-bumper cover bracket scrivets.





8. NOTE: The rearward upper portion of the bumper cover must be pulled outward and downward to unclip it from the fender.
Remove the front bumper cover.


9. Inspect the bumper cover mounting brackets for damage at the attachment points. If necessary, install new bumper cover mounting brackets.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
