Ignition Coil - Installation
5.7L 1.
Using compressed air, blow out any dirt or contaminants from around top of
spark plug.
NOTE: Use dielectric grease on each of the spark plug boots before installing the coil. 2.
Position
ignition coil (1) into valve cover and push onto
spark plugs.
3.
Install 2 coil mounting bolts (2). Tighten to 7 Nm (62 in.lbs.).
4.
Connect electrical connector (1) to coil by snapping into position.
