NAVIGATION / MULTI INFO DISPLAY: NAVIGATION RECEIVER (for HDD): REMOVAL
1. PRECAUTION
Navigation System (for HDD)
NOTICE:
* After the power switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
* A hard disk drive (HDD) is built into the navigation receiver assembly to store map data etc. which will be used for the navigation system. Therefore, make sure to read all of the precautions thoroughly before handling the navigation receiver assembly.
2. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Removal
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX DUCT Removal
7. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA INTERFACE ECU ASSEMBLY (w/ USB Audio System) Removal
9. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH Removal
11. REMOVE NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE Removal
12. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
13. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal
14. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL Removal
15. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH REGISTER Removal
16. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX Removal
17. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY Removal
18. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH BRACKET
(a) Pull out the display and navigation module display with bracket to the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.
(b) Disconnect each connector and remove the display and navigation module display with bracket.
19. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE Removal
20. REMOVE NO. 3 DISC PLAYER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 3 disc player bracket.
21. REMOVE NO. 4 DISC PLAYER BRACKET
(a) Remove the 2 bolts and No. 4 disc player bracket.
22. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY
