DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR DRIVE UNIT: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the procedure up to Remove Roof Headlining Assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE UPPER BACK WINDOW PANEL TRIM Disassembly

3. REMOVE REAR ROOF SIDE RAIL PAD LH

(a) Disengage the 2 fasteners and remove the rear roof side rail pad LH.





4. REMOVE POWER BACK DOOR UNIT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.





(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) Remove the 5 bolts.

(d) Disengage the claw and remove the power back door unit assembly as shown in the illustration.
