Dome Lamp: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING: REAR ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY:

INSPECTION

1. INSPECT SPOT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (REAR SEAT ILLUMINATION)






(a) Disconnect the Q6 spot light assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.






(c) Apply battery voltage to the spot light assembly connector.
(d) Check that the rear seat illumination comes on.
OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the spot light assembly.
2. INSPECT REAR ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY (REAR PERSONAL LIGHT)






(a) Disconnect the Q4 or Q5 rear room light assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





If the result is not specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.






(c) Apply battery voltage to the spot light assembly connector.
(d) Check that the rear personal light comes on.
OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the rear room light assembly.
