NAVIGATION: HARD DISK DRIVE: REMOVAL

1. PRECAUTION

Navigation System (for HDD)

NOTICE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, make sure to wait at least 60 seconds before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Waif for 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent airbag deployment Service Precautions.

3. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH FRONT ASH RECEPTACLE Removal

5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal

6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal

7. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY WITH RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE HARD DISK DRIVE

(a) Remove the 2 screws.





(b) Using a screwdriver, pull out the hard disk drive in the direction shown by the arrow to remove the hard disk drive.
