Key Interlock System Inspection

KEY INTERLOCK SYSTEM INSPECTION

1. Switch the ignition to ON.

2. Perform the following procedures to inspect the key interlock system.

- If there is any malfunction, inspect the interlock cable. Testing and Inspection

a. Verify that the ignition cannot be turned to the OFF position when the selector lever is not in the P position.

b. Verify that the ignition can be turned to the OFF position when the selector lever is in the P position.
