Boost Solenoid: Service and Repair

Boost Control System:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Disconnect the boost source (6) and signal (4) hoses from the boost control solenoid (5).
2. Disconnect the the boost control solenoid electrical connector.
3. Remove the the boost control solenoid retaining nut.
4. Remove the boost control solenoid.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Install the boost control solenoid.
2. Install the boost control solenoid retaining nut.
3. Connect the boost control solenoid electrical connector.
4. Connect the boost source and signal hoses to the boost control solenoid.

(1) Vacuum Signal to Supercharger Bypass Actuator
(2) Boost Signal to Fuel Pressure Regulator
(3) Supercharger Bypass Actuator
(4) Boost Signal to Supercharger Bypass Actuator
(5) Supercharger Bypass Solenoid
(6) Boost Source to Supercharger Bypass Solenoid
