Mirror Face Replacement

Removal Procedure





Caution: Refer to Eye Protection Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Carefully push the outside rearview mirror face on the inner edge, near the front door window glass, to allow access.
2. Insert a large flat bladed screwdriver in the slot between mirror lens and the mounting base.
3. Grasp the mirror face firmly and pull it from the mirror body.
4. Remove the outside rearview mirror case from the outside rearview mirror housing and disconnect the heater wire, if equipped.



Installation Procedure

1. Install the electric heater wire to the mirror, if equipped.




2. Using the palm of your gloved hand, press firmly on the center of the glass until the case seats onto the motor.
The mirror will make a snapping noise when properly seated.
3. Inspect the mirror for proper operation.
