Horn Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the front facia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement) .




3. Disconnect the horn electrical connector from the horn unit (1)
4. Remove the horn assembly to front module retaining bolt (2).
5. Pull the horn assembly (3) outward to remove it from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure

1. Align horn in correct position on vehicle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the horn assembly to front module retaining bolt (1).

Tighten the bolt to 10 N-m (89 lb in).

3. Connect the horn electrical connectors (3) to the horn assembly.
4. Install the front facia assembly. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement (Front Bumper Fascia Replacement) .
5. Lower the vehicle.
