Front Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to SIR Warning (SIR Warning).

1. Place the seat in the full up position to relieve tension on the motor.
2. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




4. Remove the seat motor fastener.




5. Remove the seat motor roll pin.




6. Remove the seat motor.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the seat motor.




2. Install the seat motor roll pin.





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the seat motor fastener.

Tighten the fastener to 7 Nm (62 lb in).




4. Connect the electrical connectors.
5. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
