Seat Adjuster Motor Replacement - Horizontal

Removal Procedure

Warning: Refer to SIR Warning (SIR Warning).

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).




2. Remove the seat adjuster motor cables by pulling the cables out of the adjuster.




3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.




4. Remove the fasteners from the seat adjuster motor.
5. Remove the seat adjuster motor.

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the seat adjuster motor.

Tighten the fastener to 3 Nm (26.5 lb in).




2. Connect the electrical connectors.




3. Install the seat adjuster motor cables by pushing the cables into the adjuster.
4. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket (Front Seat Replacement - Bucket).
5. Verify that both tracks operate correctly.
