Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the instrument panel compartment door.
2. Disengage the retaining tab and release the panel compartment door stopper (2).
3. Compress each side of the I/P compartment, until the upper tabs (1) release.




4. Pull the instrument panel compartment door assembly horizontally toward the rear of the vehicle to release the two hinges, and remove the instrument panel compartment assembly.

Installation Procedure





Note: Engaging the hinges from the top will deform the hinges. Be sure to install the instrument panel compartment door assembly horizontally.

1. Insert the instrument panel compartment door assembly horizontally and engage the two hinges.




2. Compress each side of the I/P compartment, until the upper tabs (1) are engaged.
3. Engage the retaining tab and connect the panel compartment door stopper (2).
4. Close the instrument panel compartment door.
