Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the ventilation hose (1) from the ventilation valve sub-assembly.




3. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench (1), remove the ventilation valve sub-assembly.

Installation Procedure




1. Apply adhesive (1) to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve.
Three bond 1324 or equivalent




2. Using a 22 mm deep socket wrench (1), install the ventilation valve.

19 Nm (14 lb ft)

3. Connect the ventilation hose.
4. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Inspect for oil leak.
